The Show
Tracee Dore, with Tracee Dore Builders, is going to take you behind the scenes of the building process, in the only local reality show about the building industry, "Behind the Build."
From pouring foundations to dream pools, viewers will see Tracee interact with local contractors and create dream homes for clients. Watch "Behind the Build" on WBKI-CW 58 Sunday at 10:30 a.m. starting May 31st.
"Behind the Build" is created and produced in the Louisville, KY area by KAG Media Consulting, LLC creator of "My Southern Home" airing in Louisville, KY, and Nashville. TN.
Tracee Dore
Homebuilder/Designer
Tracee Dore has been building and designing homes for over 25 years.
At the age of 16, Tracee started working alongside her father, David Dore, owner of David Dore Builders. From being the cleanup girl on the job site to designing floor plans, Tracee's father taught her the home building industry from the ground up.
Sharing her father’s passion for the industry, Tracee got a degree in interior design from the University of Kentucky. Still in school and only 21, she was hired to design a 6000 square foot home.
With her first job under her belt, Tracee Dore Interiors was born. Tracee's attention to detail and passion for a job well done helped her land prestigious design projects such as the Fasig-Tipton Company, North America's oldest Thoroughbred auction company, and national media attention.
Tracee participated in the HGTV Network show "Design Star", DIY Network's "Home Stretch" and has been featured in publications such as Better Homes and Gardens, Sophisticated Living, Today's Women, Business First, and The Courier-Journal.
She lost her father at a young age, but he left with her a love and passion for the industry. One of his favorite things to say was, "If you are proud of what you do, put your name on it."
With this in mind, Tracee changed the name of her company to Tracee Dore Builders and started building custom homes.
"The process and the products you use to build a home are crucial. It doesn't matter how beautiful a home is if you can't live in it." says Tracee.
Tracee Dore Builders is a one-stop-shop for homeowners. From picking out the perfect lot to designing customized floor plans, Tracee helps her clients from start to finish, build their dream home.
Kimberly Greenwell
Executive Producer/Director
Kimberly Greenwell is President of KAG Media Consulting, LLC, producer of the regional television show "My Southern Home”.
As a media consultant for the Home Builders Association of Greater Louisville from 2011-2016, Kimberly grew a passion for the home-related industry and quickly became an expert in the field.
That experience led to a local television station asking her to host and produce a local home show in 2015.
In 2017, Kimberly launched “My Southern Home” in Louisville, KY, and expanded to Nashville, TN in August 2018.
Working in-front and behind the camera, Kimberly has created a niche for herself producing award-winning home improvement television shows.
